All times local. Ibiza is 1 hour ahead of the UK.
Both groups are here. About 25 min from the airport by car.
Double-checked Fri 2 Oct evening against AEMET (Spain's official weather service) and a beach forecast for Cala Llonga. Both agree: showery weekend with easterly winds, then drying out from Monday, which is why the beach is on Monday.
Warm and humid even when it rains, so showers will be short and mild, not cold. Sea around 23°C. Evenings about 21–23°C. Wind: from the east, up to 20 km/h with gusts near 35 km/h on Saturday morning, easing to about 10 km/h on Sunday and Monday. Pack a light rain jacket or umbrella.
Mondi meets you at arrivals and drives you back on Monday.
Relaxed first lunch, then on to the hotel.
Settle in, pool, rest.
Pick up the people carrier and drive to the hotel (about 25 min).
Settle in and have supper near the hotel. We'll see you in the morning.
Mondi checks the rain radar and messages everyone. If it's raining properly, we skip the market and have a slow morning instead.
About 25 min. Two cars: Anita's people carrier and Mondi's car.
Ibiza's big Saturday market at the old racecourse near Playa d'en Bossa. Vintage, bric-a-brac and local stalls, with a small bar. The ground is dusty and uneven, so wear trainers and bring an umbrella. Free entry.
Sant Jordi or Ses Salines, then back to the hotel.
Nap, pool, feet up before the evening.
Wood-fired cooking with vegetables from their own garden, on a farm between Jesús and Cala Llonga (Ctra. Jesús–Cala Llonga km 7.5, about 10 min from the hotel). Around €80 a head. Our one late evening out with Beni. Bring a layer in case we sit outside.
The farmhouse garden where Mondi works, in the hills near Sant Mateu (about 25–30 min drive). About an hour. If it's pouring at 09:15, we move it to 16:30–17:30 instead.
Everyone over to ours. Mondi shows the 3D model of FINCA XXII, our land in Aragón where we're building the house (about 1–2 hours). Indoors, so showers don't matter.
Rest at the hotel.
Bags go in Mondi's car for the day.
A full beach day, about 10 min from the hotel. Sunbeds and parasols paid on the beach, and a paddleboard (SUP) if we have one. Bring swimwear, sun cream, a towel and a layer. Monday looks like the driest day, with light winds and calm water.
Sonrojo Beach & Chiringuito, right on Cala Llonga (+34 971 62 61 91). Indoor tables if it rains.
Stay as long as you like, or head back to the hotel for a rest (10 min). Goodbyes today, as we fly early on Tuesday.
Straight from the beach. At the airport by about 18:45, in plenty of time for the 20:55 flight.
Check out, drive to the airport and return the people carrier.
One main outing a day with a rest every afternoon. Skip anything you like.
Beni is home by 19:00 most nights, so our daytime plans finish by about 18:30. Saturday is the evening out at La Era.
Warm, 24–26°C, with showers likely on Saturday and Sunday and Monday the driest. Bring a light rain jacket or umbrella. See the weather outlook above.
Anita's people carrier and Mondi's car. Taxis are easy to find in Santa Eulària.
